Cindy, Thanks for your patience concerning the formation of the Polka Alliance, and its affiliation and group exemption status with the Folk Alliance. Unfortunately, the Polka Alliance lost steam and has been dormant over the past year. I reluctantly suggest that you remove the Polka Alliance from your group exemption list at this time. I will continue to keep an open website for the Polka Alliance www.polkaalliance.com should the interest spark again and I hope that the Folk Alliance will reconsider an affiliation when a serious group can be realized. The original interim board membership made great strides toward the formation of this organization so, when the interest returns much of the hard preliminary work will have already been done.
Thank you for your consideration, Steve Meisner
